The Abbey Tavern wins the Denver A-List's St. Patrick's Day Showdown – 2015

The Abbey Tavern has won the Denver A-List's St. Patrick's Day Showdown – 2015

16 nominees, 4 rounds and more than 800 votes later, a champion has been crowned in the Denver A-List's St. Patrick's Day Showdown – 2015.

From start to finish, there were fierce head-to-head battles. Some resulted in blowouts, others were decided by the narrowest of margins.

On the far side of the bracket The Abbey Tavern was the class of the bunch - defeating the Denver duo of Patrick Carroll's and Ned Kelly's Irish Pub in the opening 2 rounds. The Abbey Tavern carried their hot streak into Semi-Finals, defeating Nallen's Irish Pub in a lopsided battle.

The near side of the bracket saw The Irish Snug, who defeated Fado Irish Pub and Slattery's Irish Pub with ease. In the Semi-Final round, Irish Snug got off to an early lead before fighting off a late charge from Casey's Bistro & Pub.

The final round was as fierce as any before with The Abbey Tavern and The Irish Snug trading blows. In the end, while both Pubs put up a great fight, it was The Abbey Tavern that emerged with the win.

Congratulations to all the nominees, but a special congratulations to The Abbey Tavern - the winner of the Denver A-List's St. Patrick's Day Showdown – 2015.

Thanks to all of the voters who helped celebrate St. Patrick's Day this year!
