Pasternack's was founded in the 1920's in lower downtown Denver by brothers Sam and Saul Pasternack. It was one of 45 Pawnshops on Larimer Street. During the last 80 years it has been run by the Pasternack brothers, son Fred, daughter Mona, and now a third generation with Scott, Paul and Phyll Pasternack. Our philosphy is that it's a family business and so we treat all of our customers as family. We have expanded from one small building to two large locations where we are able to handle all size loans. We pride ourselves on being able to give more leaway to our clientel because we are a family. No one will be just a number in our stores.
