In-Tea is far more than a tea shoppe - it is a unique oasis where one can sample, smell, and learn about dozens & dozens of luscious teas, relax with friends & family, listen to great music, take classes...it even has gluten free bakery items! (alongside other yummy baked goods & Udi's terrific sandwiches & salads). Carole, the owner, honestly sparkles in her enthusiasm for searching out the best teas from around the world and patiently, lovingly, unveiling them to you. She is truly incredible, always going out of her way to climb the ladder to pull a tea container down from the Wall 'O Tea to let customers take a whiff & tell them every amazing detail about the precious leaves. Think "Chocolat" (the movie/book), but with tea! The atmosphere is lush and warm, with walls of art and unusual tea pots and tea apparatus - always filled with people laughing, talking, reading, working, writing Christmas cards - completely at home. This is the first place we bring out-of-town guests and they always fall in love with the place! My friends love it, and my son (8) & daughter (11) BEG routinely to go (the iced Gummi Bear Tea with Bobas is my daughter's fave; warm Vanilla Coconut w/ just a touch of Agave for my son). I've never tried anything I haven't liked at In-Tea, but the chocolatey Winter MInt w/ just a touch of sweetened condensed mild holds a special place in my heart...but then there is the Champagne Raspberry White, iced w/ Bobas...and then the intoxicating Midnight Blue laced with lavender and roses...and...and...! My husband lives for the exquisite White Tipped Earl Grey. If you haven't gone to In-Tea, you are missing out on one of metro Denver's greatest gems.
