    Taste of Thailand

There are some great Thai places to eat at in the Denver Metro area! The reason why "The Taste" is my favorite is because they try to grow as much of their herbs and veggies as possible. Plus they make some very unique seasonal specials that you can only seem to find there. In fact, I can never be sure of what I will order there until I find out what the specials are. The blackboard will make you change your mind! Feeling kind of ill, maybe flu-like and don't want chicken soup? Well, go to the Taste and order their "Flu-Shot Soup"! Excellent stuff only available during flu season. Lots of garlic!

  • Yanni's A Greek Taverna Inc., Great Meals Restaurants, Greek, 2223 S Monaco Pkwy Denver CO 80222

    Yanni's A Greek Taverna Inc.

Having live near Tarpons Springs and Baltimore for half my life, I've gotten to learn truly real and excellent Greek restaurants. Having said that, I can tell you that most of the "Greek" restaurants in Denver Metro are CRAP! I'll give you a clue... in a good Greek restaurant you will not find gyros or gyros meat! A good Greek restaurant is going to have several seafood dishes and excellent lamb. Therefore I feel that the only Greek restaurant in the Denver Metro area that would maybe have a good shot of "making it" in the Highlandtown area of Baltimore would be Yanni's. Go there on a weekend not during winter and you can get some great Greek style BBQ'd lamb! WoW! This is a very family type of restaurant, where some of the kids might even get a shot of Ouzo!

  • Saigon Bowl, Great Meals, Vietnamese, 333 South Federal Boulevard, Suite 134 Denver CO 80219

    Saigon Bowl

I went to Vietnam in the summer of 2001 for the main reason for eating their food. I went over four weeks without any type of American food. I mostly stayed in Hue, which is close to the Pacific and seafood is a staple. My wife is Vietnamese. Dong Khanh or the Saigon Bowl is not only my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in Colorado, it is one of my most favorite in this country! They stay very close to the traditional style and flavors of the areas of Vietnam, mostly concentrating on the Southern styles. The menu is huge and have far too many great items to start mentioning them all. What I can say is if you like Vietnamese food, you'll love this place!
